Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the final film in the Resident Evil film saga, and it now has a poster.

Screen Gems is on a roll with the Resident Evil film franchise. Despite being critically maligned, the film company has managed to turn the hit videogame franchise into a hit film franchise. With a total of five films released, the franchise has grossed over $1 billion, and will release its final entry on January 27, 2017.

Milla Jovovich, who reprises her role as Alice, has tweeted out the poster for The Final Chapter. It doesn’t tell us much except for the fact that Alice is, once again, the central figure of the film’s plot.

Also, here’s the films official description:

“Alice is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse."

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter sees Paul W.S. Anderson returning to direct and write the film. Ali Larter (Claire Redfield), Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker), Ruby Rose (Abigail), and Iain Glen (Dr. Alexander Isaacs) co-star alongside Jovovich. Resident Evil 7, the next entry in the game franchise, is schedule to launch three days earlier on January 24, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
