Retro Fighters are known for their modern takes on classic gaming controllers. The latest are two very similar GameCube controllers: BattlerGC and BladeGC. These are wireless controllers (based on 2.4GHz wireless rather than Bluetooth).

The controller works with GameCube, PC, and Switch. The estimated battery life is around 10 hours. Those who want to play on Switch or PC will need to use an included USB receiver due to the custom 2.5GHz connection. What is the difference between the BattlerGC and BladeGC? The only change is the location of the joysticks.

The BattlerGC features an offset joystick layout similar to how it was on original GameCube controllers. BladeGC features both joysticks on the bottom, more akin to a Sony controller. It's available in three colors: Black, Spice (orange) and Indigo on pre-order right now. The controllers are expected to ship in April 2022.
