We loved Riptide GP: Renegade back when it debuted on the PS4, and have been fans of the series for years dating back to its mobile roots. Created by Vector Unit, who handled Hydro Thunder Hurricane, the franchise offers up fast-paced water racing that hasn’t been seen on a Nintendo console in over 15 years. Waverace fans craving something similar to that, but with more of an arcade slant should definitely check out Riptide GP: Renegade. Online play is featured and will allow for cross-platform play between Steam users on PC and Switch users, which is pretty awesome. There’s also a single player career more that allows you to customize your vehicle and rider. The game launches on Switch on December 7 for $9.99 – so it offers up a fairly high amount of content for a fairly small price point, and is great for either long sessions at a TV or quick sessions on the go.
