Developer Psyonix Studios celebrated via Twitter today that its soccer-but-with-rocket-cars mega-hit Rocket League just hit a milestone of 20 million players worldwide.

It's worth noting, of course, that Rocket League launched on July 7, 2015 as an entry to Sony's PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, helping to spur the game's astronomic rise in popularity; however, that only accounts for around five to six million downloads for the game, so 20 million players is still quite an achievement, especially for such a small developer.

It's never too late to get in on the fun. Rocket League is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
