During their appearance at GDC this year, Atari revealed a teaser trailer for their upcoming installment of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. Fans weren't too thrilled with what they saw either, and Atari took notice.

They explained everything in a blog post on their website. The trailer shown off wasn't meant to be a sign of the final stages. It shows that there is some progress being put into RollerCoaster Tycoon World.

They're also working with a Unity 5 Engine after much experimenting. They seem entirely satisfied with what they've made too, hopefully it will translate well with fans. They've also added a bit of realism by including rides similar to those found in real theme parks.

RollerCoaster Tycoon World is slowly but surely coming. The team wants to make sure they get it right. Open discussion and feedback is encouraged; so if you have something to say, say it.
