In a recent blog post regarding the conclusion of their beta, the RollerCoaster Tycoon World development team have announced that the original release date has now been revised to 'early 2016.' This is the second such delay that RollerCoaster Tycoon World has experienced.

Previously set for a December 10 release, the team cited a focus on improving certain features of the game as the reason for the delay. Having gathered data over the beta period, the developers specified a series of features as those they wished to improve. These were “easier 'predefined piece' coaster building, additional coaster test feedback, a robust fencing tool, improved on-demand grid, and various smaller improvements”.

While many will be frustrated with these latest delays, it seems as though the developers have reacted to testing and community input in a positive manner. While it may be annoying, the game should be better for it.

Another round of beta testing is set for later this year.
