One of the biggest topics of discussion following the initial reveal of the Nintendo Switch was its apparent lack of touch screen functionality. Despite generally appearing to be a fantastic idea in theory, we all know that this system will live or die on the back of its library. If this ends up providing the console-like experience on the go that so many were hoping for with the Vita, then the Nintendo Switch could be a smash hit.

Still, the idea that a tablet of any sort would lack touch functionality in 2016 seems baffling, though a bit of information about Nintendo's Switch partners might suggest that touch commands simply weren't shown in the first look trailer.

During the initial reveal of the Nintendo Switch, a list of partners was revealed that we can assume are at least attempting to utilize the Switch's functionality. Arguably the most interesting name in the image is DeNA, Nintendo's infamous mobile development partner. Considering this is a company that has focused on mobile development for years, it doesn't necessarily make sense that they would rush towards an opportunity to create button-based titles. Then again, there could always be a chance that DeNA is looking to develop more traditional titles for a system that doesn't have any touch functionality whatsoever.

What do you believe DeNA's contribution to the Nintendo Switch will be? Sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned for the latest Nintendo Switch news.
