It looks like Ubisoft might have acted hastily and revealed the release window for Watch Dogs on Wii U.  If the publisher's digital store is to be believed, Wii U owners will be getting Watch Dogs sometime this fall.

Ubisoft's uPlay store has updated the Watch Dogs page with the release dates for each platform.  The PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions will launch on May 27.  However, something interesting happens when you select the Wii U version.  The release date changes to fall 2o14.  Ubisoft has yet to confirm any release info for Watch Dogs on the Wii U.

The Wii U version was delayed earlier this year.  Ubisoft says that the delay was issued to give Ubisoft Romania more time to get Watch Dogs working properly.  At the time, it was revealed that the game was still aiming for a 2014 release, but Ubisoft couldn't make any promises.

Take this as a rumor for now.  For all we know the release window could have been put up in error, or it could be just a placeholder.  We're sure Ubisoft will make an announcement concerning Watch Dogs on Wii U sometime in the near future.
