There's not much better in this world for a Nintendo fan than Pokemon, besides maybe Super Smash Bros. So whenever the universes collide, it's cause for excitement. Creator of the Smash Bros. series, Masahiro Sakurai, took to the Miiverse today to tease us with a picture of Pokémon X's Xerneas standing back to back with Pikachu. The caption along with the picture reads "Pic of the day. We have absolutely nothing to announce today regarding Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.  Really!" Obviously, there is, so he's being a bit of a troll or at the very least a tease. But that's Sakurai for you.

What exactly this signals is unknown, but it looks like Xerneas at the very least will make Pokémon X and Y a part of Super Smash Bros.
