Last year, 3DS owners got the chance to play the first localized version of the Umihara Kawase series Sayonara Umihara Kawase, released overseas as Yumi’s Odd Oddysey. Now Vita owners will get the chance to play the hardcore platformer.

The newest issue of Famitsu details a Vita release for Sayonara Umihara Kawase, which will be released under the name Sayonara Umihara Kawase: Chirari. The Vita port will have all 50 stages from the 3DS version, but with updated enemy types and placements (likely thanks to the Vita’s larger screen). The Vita version will also have improved graphics and a slick 60fps framerate upgrade.

Sayonara Umihara Kawase: Chirari is set for release in Japan on April 23, 2015. No other territories have been confirmed for release as of now.
