Sea of Stars Coming to Switch Holiday 2022

Sabotage Studio’s name skyrocketed upon the release of The Messenger – a love-letter to classic 8 and 16-bit ninja action-platformers. There, a well-worn genre was given new wrinkles and felt brand-new thanks to the team’s desire to take something that would have fit in line with classics – but did its own thing. Sea of Stars aims to do something similar for turn-based RPGs, with a unique setting that allows it to stand apart from the classics of the 16-bit era.

Blending turn-based action with a bit of overworld exploration and a soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda of Chrono and Xeno series fame, Sea of Stars has everything it needs to deliver a top-notch experience that will stand the test of time. The art looks lush and everything shown off is impressive. We’ll have a better idea how everything works out when it launches Holiday 2022 on the Switch and PC.
