As packed a month for game releases as September ended up being, there was one particular title that many PlayStation fans were looking forward to above all else: Insomniac’s take on the web-slinging superhero.

As a result, it should surprise very few people that Spider-Man ended up topping the PlayStation Store charts for September 2018, which were recently revealed. Several other September releases also made their way onto the top ten, including three sports titles: NBA 2K19 at number two, FIFA 19 at number 3 and NHL 19 coming in at sixth. Destiny 2’s Forsaken DLC helped catapult the game’s Legendary edition to number 5, while Shadow of the Tomb Raider came in at a respectable ninth place.
