Sloclap, the indie developer behind Absolver, have been hard at work on their next title which, like many other games this year, ended up slipping from its original 2021 release window into 2022 with a new date of February 22.

At least, that was the new date, until the indie team made the unusual announcement today to move Sifu’s launch forward a full two weeks, making the game’s new release date February 8. Alongside this welcome news, the kung fu brawler has received two new overview trailers which can be seen below, with the first diving into the game’s combat while the other handles its unique death and aging system.

Sifu is set to release on February 8 for PS5, PC and PS4.
