Kaze and the Wild Masks has been in the works for a while, and it's finally got a publisher in Soedesco. Vox has been working on this fast-paced platformer for years to make sure it's as finely-tuned as possible, and the new trailer showcases just how much that work has paid off. The game itself looks like a blend of faster-paced Sonic the Hedgehog-style action, but with more precision platforming mixed in. Kaze uses masks to get new powers, and one of the masks showcased in the new trailer allows you to flap around like a bird - completely changing the nature of the action. The game's pixel art style is richly-detailed and like Freedom Planet, looks more like something out of the 32-bit platforming era than 16-bit. We'll be keeping an eye on Kaze and the Wild Masks as its release draws closer.
