This April marks the beginning of the new fiscal year, and with it often comes the restructuring of businesses as they plan for the following twelve months and beyond.

Sony Interactive Entertainment is among those companies that are reorganizing their hierarchy for the foreseeable future, as current SIE deputy president Jim Ryan will be appointed as the new president and CEO on April 1, with current president John Kodera switching seats and taking Ryan’s deputy president position. Jim Ryan has spent 25 years at Sony, including a period of time as president of the European division of SIE, before becoming deputy president in January 2018.
