Spark the Electric Jester is an indie game created by Felipe Ribeiro Daneluz, aka LakeFeperd. After an extensive hiatus from the game to work on other projects, Daneluz announced through a new gameplay trailer that the retro-style platformer is back in focus and is ready to move forward.

The gameplay trailer of Spark the Electric Jester screams “Sega Genesis” with energetic Sonic-esque momentum, especially in the slick hoverboard segments. It definitely gives off a Freedom Planet vibe too, with its colorful characters and high speed. Spark can wall-jump and use the titular electricity for various attacks.
