Don't expect to see everyone's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man pop up at The Game Awards or PlayStation Experience.
The Game Awards 2016 and PlayStation Experience are just a few days away, and speculation about what will be shown at both events is running rampant. One of the games people would like to see is the upcoming PS4-exclusive Spider-Man game from Insomniac Games. Well, that isn't going to happen.
Insomniac Games have confirmed that Spider-Man will not be appearing at either event. In fact, we won't get our next look at the game until 2017.
Spider-Man was announced back at E3 2016 and will be the first game in the franchise not to be published by Activision. This is all part of a new strategy by Marvel Games who are looking to license their properties to studios capable of making epic products. Under Activision, it had been a long time since there had been a good Spider-Man game.
Be sure to check back in 2017 for more news on Spider-Man.
