Square Enix has finally released details about the Final Fantasy XV Digital Premium Edition.
We’ve known that the Final Fantasy XV Premium Edition is real for over a week now. We also know the contents of the Season Pass since last week. Today, Square Enix has confirmed that both are real, and have also announced a Season Pass upgrade for those who’ve already pre-ordered the game through the PS Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.
As we reported last week, the Season Pass includes six DLC packs. Here’s a quick refresher on each of them:
- DLC 1: Booster Pack (Working Title)
- DLC 2: Episode Gladio (Working Title)
- DLC 3: Holiday Pack (Working Title)
- DLC 4: Episode Ignis (Working Title)
- DLC 5: Episode Prompto (Working Title)
- DLC 6: Expansion Pack (Working Title)
Square Enix is also offering bonuses for anyone who purchases the Digital Premium Edition or Season Pass upgrade. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will get the following goodies:
- Weapon: Masamune (FFXV)
- Recolor: 16-Bit Buddies
- Item: Angler Set
- Theme: Final Fantasy XV - Big Bang
- Recolor: Platinum Leviathan
- Item: Camera Kit
- Final Fantasy XV Digital Mini Sound Track
- Final Fantasy XV - Digital Premium Edition Original Theme (Working Title)
And here’s what those who pre-order from the Xbox Live Marketplace will get:

Final Fantasy XV is out September 30 on PS4 and Xbox One. The Digital Premium Edition is available now for pre-order and will set you back $84.99. The Season Pass upgrade will cost $24.99.
