Star Wars: Battlefront is getting a Season Pass

EA and Dice have confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront will be getting a Season Pass. If you’ve ever purchased a Battlefield Premium subscription then you know what you’re getting into.

The Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass extends the game with four expansion packs that are filled with new content and take players to new locations. Season Pass holders will also get access to each expansion pack two weeks before everyone else and an exclusive “Shoot First” emote. EA will also release the Star Wars: Battlefront Ultimate Edition pack that comes with all the content in the Deluxe Edition as well as the Season Pass.

EA and Dice did not reveal pricing information for the Season Pass or Ultimate Edition, how many maps will be in each expansion pack, or what new content players can expect. If these expansions are like Battlefield’s expansion, players can expect new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles to play around with. It would also be nice to see some new heroes, and perhaps new factions based on the Prequel and upcoming Sequel trilogies. Hopefully we’ll get some more concrete details soon.

Star Wars: Battlefront is out November 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Today has been a busy day for EA and Dice as they have also revealed the nine different multiplayer modes and Missions launching with Star Wars: Battlefront.
