Star Wars today announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is getting dedicated PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order stands as one of the best Star Wars titles released in quite some time. Despite technical hiccups running on the last-gen machines, the game still shone as an excellent piece of storytelling within the universe. This summer, however, players should be able to experience the game without many of those technical issues.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer. Current owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions get a free upgrade. These versions include a number of technical improvements to the game. Respawn Entertainment has already released a patch to improve the experience when playing via backwards compatibility, but proper next-gen versions will be able to do a lot more. It does not appear that there will be any new content.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer. It's available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. You can get the game up to 70% during the Star Wars Day celebrations.
