EA today confirmed that when the first look at gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place.

Those hoping to see gameplay for Respawn Entertainment's action-adventure title are going to have to wait a bit longer. In a surprise to no one, publisher EA confirmed we won't see gameplay until EA Play in June. Announced at Star Wars Celebration last month, all EA and Respawn showed off was a pre-rendered trailer. The news isn't much of a surprise considering Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Star Wars Battlefront II, and Battlefield V were all revealed early with pre-rendered trailers. Like Fallen Order, players didn't get to see any real gameplay until June.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place immediately after Revenge of the Sith. You're Cal Kestis, a Padawan and survivor of Order 66. Targeted by the Empire, you must find a way to survive in a world where the Sith rule and Jedi have fallen. Respawn Entertainment confirmed that Fallen Order is a single player game without microtransactions or loot boxes.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out November 15 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. EA Play takes place June 7-9.
