Last week, we reported that Rust had sold 150,000 copies in just two weeks in Early Access, a stunning accomplishment by any measure. But shockingly enough, the numbers for Starbound are even more impressive. The 2D procedurally generated indie game has sold over a million copies in its first month and it's still in Early Access. It was reported earlier that the game had raised over $2,000,000 in pre-orders prior to launching, but this number eclipses that, meaning it raised somewhere around the 10-15 million dollar range in total sales.

It's another great accomplishment for indie developers and shows just how lucrative the indie world can be.
