If there's one thing PC devotees have always loved, it's playing Final Fantasy on the PC. Ever since Final Fantasy VII worked its way onto computers in the late '90s thanks to Eidos, playing a formerly console-exclusive game in the series on PC has always been exciting. It looks like the series could be again returning to PC, as a Steam logo has appeared on the official Final Fantasy XIII site:

It's worth noting that this website covers all three flavors of the game: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. If the logo was placed there accidentally, then that's the end of the story. If it was placed there purposely (which at this point seems likely), however, it's unclear which three games will be coming to the platform.

As multi-packs are all the rage these days, don't count out a Final Fantasy XIII three pack if XIII is indeed coming to Steam.

We'll follow the story and report back if any updates appear.

[UPDATE]: Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy XIII and sequels are heading to Steam.
