Both Europe and North America will see a 2016 release for Steins;Gate 0, publisher PQube has announced. While no specific release date was given, it seems fans won't have to wait long for the sequel to the original Steins;Gate, a game which has been heralded by many as one of the best visual novels in recent years. Steins;Gate 0 was previously released in Japan on December 10 last year.

The original title, which centred around time-travel (and the resulting effects) didn't see a Western release until 2015 on PS3 & Vita -- six years after it originally released in Japan. The follow-up sees the series continuing along with these themes, PQube describing 0 as "a story centred around Artificial Intelligence and the creation of ‘Amadeus’ -- a means of interacting with the stored memories of a fellow human being.". Steins;Gate 0 will be available on both PS4 & Vita in the West.
