It's no secret that we're pretty big admirers of Suda51's work as both a video game designer/writer as well as a director. And while we all have our favorite works or the ones we remember more fondly from the past, it's Killer7, released on the Gamecube & PS2 all the way back in 2005, that brought the World's attention to Suda's unconventional yet highly entertaining style of game design. With its cel-shaded art-style, unorthodox controls -- what with it being an on-rails first-person/third-person action-adventure -- and fairly ambiguous story-telling which primarily revolved around the titular band of assassins, while it may not have proven a commercial success (not to mention proving polarising with critics) its cult status has cemented the game as one of Suda51's more memorable and interesting games to dissect.

And speaking in an interview with Game Informer, Suda has once again expressed interest in returning to the game, whether that be through a remaster or a full-blown remake. "The thing about Killer7 is that, it's not easy to play that game anymore right now." He explains: "that's definitely something I'd like to maybe revisit and update." Though it's not much to go on, Suda has recently brought Grasshopper Manufacture's debut title, The Silver Case, to western shores via a current-gen remake -- as well as even expanding on that story through an official sequel, The 25th Ward -- so who knows? During a PAX West panel last September, Suda had hinted at such a prospect.
