The popular Las Vegas eSports Event of the year brings more to attendees than just high-adrenaline PVP action. This year's Evolution Championship Series 2018 promises a new consumer debut of the highly anticipated Dead or Alive 6. After winning numerous "Best Fighting Game of E3" awards, KOEI TECMO announced that a playable demo will be unveiled at EVO inside the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, August 3 through August 4.

The demo will be playable at KOEI TECMO's booth on the show floor, and will be showcased on a stage in a special Dead or Alive 6 mini-tournament. Gamers will also be able to compete for the official Dead or Alive 5 Last Round championship, as the best competitors battle to see who will walk away with a piece of the $6000 prize pool money in front of a live audience. To top off all the action, Dead or Alive 6 producer and director, Yohei Shimbori will be in attendance throughout the weekend to showcase his new game. For those lucky enough to be in attendance, unique DOA merchandise will be given out during the event- including tote bags awarded to those joining the DOA6 mini tournament. Registration for the tournaments runs from July 5 through July 27, and all players need to register as a participant through EVO separately by July 20 in order to compete. Dead or Alive 6 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will release in Early 2019.
