ZeniMax Online Studios has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is experiencing a few launch woes on consoles. Servers for the PS4 and Xbox One versions went live this morning and it appears that they are not up to snuff. Several users took to the game's forums to vent their frustrations, with ZeniMax promising to solve the issue as soon as possible.

"Hey everyone. If you have been experiencing login errors, we ask that you please try to log into the console megaservers again. While we are continuing to work on resolving the issue, we have found that the issue has been fixed for some players at this point. We will continue to work on this until it's resolved for all players, and we'll provide an update when we can. Thank you again for your patience throughout the night."

The long-awaited console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online launched today after a year-long delay. The game originally launched last year on PC with a paid-subscription model. That plan didn't go so well, and so the game went free-to-play and was rebranded as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Currently, some players are able to get online, but the majority are still facing difficulties.
