The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky has been re-released a lot. The first in the "Sora No Kiseki" trilogy, Trails in the Sky debuted in Japan in 2004 and was re-released on DVD a year later. It was then ported to PSP in 2006, which included newly-added voice acting. The game was then released twice more for the PC, the second version of which contained the PSP updates. The PSP port finally made its way to North America in 2011.

Up to speed? Good.

Trails of Sky is due to again be re-released on the PS3 on December 13th. Remastered in HD, the game will launch for 3,990 yen. No other information has been released about the port.

If you want to play the newest incarnation of what may be the most confusingly-titled series ever, you'll have to wait and see if XSEED, who brought the PSP version over, is kind enough to localize this as well. The PSP version took seven years (perhaps spent figuring out what the game was), so don't get your hopes up.
