There's very little we know about the upcoming Gears of War from Black Tusk Studio, but what we do know is that the game will only launch on Xbox One. Jack Felling, a developer at Black Tusk Studio, has confirmed that Gears of War won't be a cross-gen title, which means no Xbox 360 version.

@Clayton_117 No sorry, it won't be available on the 360 but it will be available for the Xbox One!

Cross-gen development has steadily began losing popularity throughout the year. Though the PS3 and Xbox 360 have a combined userbase of nearly 160 million, adoption of PS4 and Xbox One has been extraordinarily high. Still, there are a handful of high-profile games still supporting the older platforms. Mortal Kombat X, LEGO Jurassic World, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and even Rise of the Tomb Raider (an Xbox exclusive for Holiday 2015) are all launching on older platforms.

Expect to hear Gears of War related news at E3 2015. However, don't expect to see a Gears of War: Marcus Fenix Collection. That rumor has already been shot down.
