Get ready to stare at some polygon butt-cheeks, boys. The original Tomb Raider is now available across Apple devices for $1, and while still as boxy as ever, the game does appear to be running in a higher resolution, resulting in a sharper, less faded look. Unfortunately, any transition will be difficult after spending all those hours staring at Camilla Luddington's body in the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot.

  • The good news: The entire game seems to be intact.
  • The bad news: The horrible controls are made even horrible-r on a touchscreen.
  • The absolutely awful news: I still find Lara's misshapen wedge of a body attractive after all these years.

If you're looking to revisit the mid 90's, look no further. That is, unless you have a copy of Rakugaki Showtime laying around somewhere, in which case drop whatever you're doing right now (i.e. reading this) and start playing. Don't stop playing until you can feel your joints becoming inflamed.
