If you haven't been following the Witcher series, you'll probably find Geralt of Rivia's final chapter a tad confusing. A lot has happened to our white-haired monster hunter since the original Witcher, and it's likely to overwhelm newcomers. Thankfully, Dark Horse Comics is here to the rescue with "The World of The Witcher," a coffee table book launching alongside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on February 24.

According to Dark Horse vice president Nick McWhorter, the book will "take a real deep dive into the lore and lot of things that haven't been explored [in the games]," and tell Geralt's story from an in-fiction perspective. The book will help veterans and new fans alike catch up on the story, and delve into some lore previously exclusive to the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski.

No pricing has been announced, but it's safe to assume that it'll cost more than a cup of coffee.
