CD Projekt Red today announced when the hit action-RPG will finally be available on current-gen machines.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition finally arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 14. Those new to the game can purchase it for their respective console or PC on that date. It features all previously released free DLC along with the game's two massive expansions; Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Those who already own the game on PS4, Xbox One, or PC can upgrade to this new version for free.

First announced in 2020 and then delayed multiple times, this new version features new visual, performance, and technical enhancements over the original 2015 release. These include ray-tracing, fast load times, integrated mods, and much more. In addition, new content based on the hit The Witcher series from Netflix will be included (it'll also be released for free on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch). A dedicated Twitch stream next week will highlight gameplay from this version of the game.
