Most of us simply play games, not program them. As such, the concept of utilizing programming languages to any degree while gaming seems outrageous. Even so, TIS-100 is a compelling new release.

Launched onto Early Access today, Zachtronics' latest game is yet another challenging puzzler. There are 20 puzzles to complete by rewriting corrupted assembly language code. You'll also be able to post scores to a leaderboard and create new puzzles to share with friends.

If you think you're up to the challenge, TIS-100 is available at the discounted price of $6.29 from now until June 8. The game is expected to spend one to two months in Early Access.
