Ubisoft today confirmed the launched date for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction alongside a few surprising announcements.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction now launches January 20, 2022 on all platforms. The co-op zombie survival shooter was supposed to launch back in September, but Ubisoft opted to delay the title to give developer Ubisoft Montreal more development time. Today’s announcement not only comes with a new release date, but also some great news.
Ubisoft has opted to cut the MSRP for both the Standard and Deluxe Edition. Rather than the typical $59.99 price tag, the Standard Edition now retails for $39.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition is only $10 more at $49.99. Both editions include the Orbital Decay Cosmetic bundle, while the Deluxe Edition comes with three bonus packs yet to be announced. Sweetening the pot are the two Buddy Passes that comes with both editions. These allow you to invite two friends to play for free for up to 14 days, essentially allowing them to try before they buy. All progression they earn through the Buddy Pass carries over should they decide to purchase the game.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction launches January 20, 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Ubisoft+. The game features cross-play, progression, and saves across all platforms.
