We are only a few weeks into the acquisition of Curse by Twitch, and they have already announced one new feature that will allow streamers to sell games that they are playing to their fans, but today more news is coming from the Twitch camp that they will also be releasing a desktop app.
The app will launch in beta on March 16. Product marketer at Twitch, Brian Petrocelli said in a blog post “one of the best things about the Twitch community is the people you connect with on your journey, it’s why we are always looking for ways to make it easier to keep in touch.”
On March 16, you’ll be able to download the Twitch Desktop App yourself by heading over to the app’s site. You’ll also be able to read more about the features the app will include.
