Twitch Launches Royalty Free Music Library

In 2014, the popular streaming site Twitch cracked down on copyrighted audio on saved VODs, muting the audio for any video featuring unauthorized third party music.

In a further effort to discourage the use of copyrighted music, Twitch has launched a royalty free music library which features hundreds of songs that streamers can use for free.

In addition, if you’re a musician, you can submit your music to be used by Twitch to reach its massive audience, but you’ll need a pretty decent following already since submitting your music requires a “minimum of 250,000 subscribers or followers on YouTube, Facebook and/or Twitter.”
