In 2014, the popular streaming site Twitch cracked down on copyrighted audio on saved VODs, muting the audio for any video featuring unauthorized third party music.

In a further effort to discourage the use of copyrighted music, Twitch has launched a royalty free music library which features hundreds of songs that streamers can use for free.

In addition, if you're a musician, you can submit your music to be used by Twitch to reach its massive audience, but you'll need a pretty decent following already since submitting your music requires a "minimum of 250,000 subscribers or followers on YouTube, Facebook and/or Twitter."
