The acclaimed Theme Hospital successor, Two Point Hospital, will be making its way to consoles in “late 2019”, developer Two Point Games have confirmed. Releasing across PS4, Xbox One & Switch — both in physical and digital format — the console iterations will come bundled with the already-available two expansions for the PC version: Bigfoot, and Pebberley Island. As you might expect, the upcoming ports’ user interface and control scheme will be tweaked to serve console players, with all additional patches and updates for the original version, coming as standard day one.
Two Point Hospital released back in late August of last year, and was met with immediate acclaim for its blend of entertaining gameplay and humour that not, in our words, not just replicated the experience of past simulator-styled entries like Theme Hospital, but improved upon it. No release date has thus far been provided nor any indication that all three console ports will release at the same time.
