Last week we saw probably the biggest face-off the game industry will see all year.  Not one, but two highly anticipated AAA titles launched both vying for the top spot on the weekly UK Charts.  So, who won?  Well the results are in and the pirates have stolen first place right under the noble soldier's noses.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag enters the UK Charts at the top spot.  The latest entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise earned rave reviews and fan popularity helped the title soar.  Only the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game launched last week with the PC and Wii U versions launching later this month in the UK.  Battlefield 4 found itself in the second spot.

Last week's number one, Batman: Arkham Origins, fell to the fifth spot with both FIFA 14 and Grand Theft Auto V eclipsing it.  Everything else moved down a couple of notches due to Assassin's Credd IV and Battlefield 4.
