Saying this past week was not Nintendo's best would be an understatement.  Apart from the dreaded Financial Forecast to the crashing of their stock, Nintendo could do with a bit of good news.  Sadly, they aren't going to get that from the UK Charts.

Mario Party: Island Tour for 3DS, the only brand new release for the week in the UK, crashed and burned coming in at only the eighteenth place.  This is the lowest a Mario game has ever debuted on the UK Charts.  This is pretty much the same predicament that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds faced when it debuted in the UK near the same position.
