It was back in 1994 when a wonderfully unique 2D platformer by the name of UmiharaKawase launched for Super Famicom in Japan. However, western fans weren't able to get a taste of the unusual title until years later.

If you'd like to experience UmiharaKawase for yourself you can now pick up the original game via Steam. Players assume the role of Umihara Kawase as she uses her fishing pole to swing across stages while avoiding giant fish. The Steam release includes achievements, trading cards, and even workshop support.

UmiharaKawase is available with a launch week discount of $8.99 via Steam from now until November 9.
