When it comes to Kickstarter, there are a lot of things we tend to see over and over again. Lately, the main trends are focused on platformers and adventure games. SkyRider & the Journey to the AirCitadel is indeed a platformer but has some different things going for it.

Aside from the gorgeous art that’s immediately visible, this platformer is also more of a runner. The world automatically scrolls and you must keep the protagonist safely staying on task. However, there’s also a drone which players control to attack enemies and create new platforms for jumping on.

SkyRider & the Journey to the AirCitadel requires $40,000 in Kickstarter funding to make it. If funded, it’ll come to Steam thanks to a successful Greenlight campaign. You can take a look at the demo at the following link.
