In an E3 filled with surprise releases that fans could play at home that week, the first and potentially biggest one from this year was the sequel to the indie platformer Unravel, which brought local co-op to the yarn-filled adventures.

Now, EA is offering the first two levels of Unravel Two for free between now and June 30 on all platforms, with players having access to the beginning of the game for a ten hour period. All progress will carry over to the full game for players who decide to purchase it, which features plenty of the same jumping, swinging and thread-throwing action that made the 2016 original from Coldwood Interactive a cult classic.

Unravel Two is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Make sure to keep it here on Hardcore Gamer for our upcoming review of the full game.
