Velocity 2X is easily one of the most promising upcoming games on the PlayStation 4 and Vita. If you are unfamiliar with this high-speed lesson in controlled chaos, prepare to get acquainted. Blending top-down shooting, platforming, puzzling, and speed-running, FuturLab's sequel to Velocity Ultra is about as action-packed as it gets. Earlier this year, we caught up with James Marsden, FuturLab's Managing Director, to talk about just how damn cool Velocity 2X appears to be. After a great deal of mystery, we finally learned about when the world will get their soon-to-be-sore hands on the genre-bending downloadable title. Velocity 2x will hit the PlayStation 4 and Vita digital storefronts on September 2nd (though European users will have to wait until September 3rd).
