Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs Legion is indeed real.

Ubisoft's reputation as the leakiest company at E3 time is as pristine as ever. Yesterday, the elusive Watch Dogs 3 finally leaked thanks to Amazon UK. Rather than attempt to deny the leaks, Ubisoft embraced them and officially announced the game.

Taking to Twitter, the publisher confirmed that the game is Watch Dogs Legion. The Tweet reveals the game's logo, and confirms the London setting with the quote, "God Save the NPCs." For those unaware, that's play on the British National Anthem, 'God Save the Queen.'

Watch Dogs Legion takes place in a near future London. According to the leaks, players can control any NPC in the game. The quote appears to confirm this. It's unknown what ties Legion will have with the previous two games.

Expect to hear more about Watch Dogs Legion during Ubisoft's E3 2019 press conference on June 9 at 1pm PDT.
