It may not have received as much hype, fanfare or build-up to its release in May of this year, but What Remains of Edith Finch quickly became a word-of-mouth hit that, despite its length, ended up as one of 2017's potential dark horses. Now, iam8bit have announced that developer Giant Sparrow's acclaimed first-person adventure is the latest indie title to get a limited edition physical release for PS4, complete with reversible cover.

On top of that, iam8bit will also be distributing a vinyl pressing of the game's soundtrack. Composed by Jeff Russo, it'll come in a "brown smoke" single LP set with a digital copy of the soundtrack bundled in as well. The limited physical edition will begin distribution in January of next year with the soundtrack following thereafter sometime in Q2 2018. What Remains of Edith Finch is available for both PS4, Xbox One & PC. Pre-orders for both products are open right now.
