Nintendo has confirmed that another sport is now available in Wii Sports Club.  Those interested can now play golf for $9.99, or try it out with a 24 hour trial.

Wii Sports made a huge splash back in 2006 and single-handedly drove sales of the Wii for years to come.  This is something that Nintendo has not been able to replicate with any of the Wii U launch titles, so now Wii Sports is coming to Wii U, but in a very different way.

Wii Sports Club is essentially an HD Remaster of the original game's modes with some added features.  Updated controls make it easier and more enjoyable to play.  The addition of online multiplayer also allows people who live alone to play with others.  However, everything else is the same.

This collection now has Tennis, Bowling and Golf available, but all must be purchased separately.  Currently, Nintendo is also planning on bringing Baseball and Boxing to Wii Sports Club sometime in the future.  It us currently unknown if any of the sports from Wii Sports Resort will be added wo Wii Sports Club.

Wii Sports Club is available now for download off the Nintendo Wii U eShop.  Check out all the sports in action below:
