[UPDATE 12/5 7:36 P.M.] Gamespot just made their article live, making the PS4-exclusivity all but confirmed. Hardcore Gamer has reached out to developer Trendy Entertainment for official confirmation.

Dungeon Defenders II, currently available on Steam Early Access, might only be coming to PS4 for 2015. Trendy Entertainment announced on Twitter that they will be making a special Dungeon Defenders II announcement at The Game Awards. An article appeared to have been briefly posted on Gamespot, (link now 404'd), but it still shows up on Google.

Yahoo News apparently picked up the story, which, as of 7 p.m. PT, is still live, with the "embaro" still in the title. The article explains that the developers felt the PS4 was the best platform to launch a free-to-play model. This is sure to irk Steam Early Access players who paid $40 to be able to play while anxiously awaiting the 2015 release. In case the Yahoo article gets pulled, check out these screenshots below.
