Xbox today announced that their annual games showcase will take place on Sunday, June 12.

E2 2022 isn't happening this year, but that hasn't dissuaded Xbox from hosting their annual showcase. The console manufacturer will take the stage on June 12 at 10am PT / 1pm Eastern to showcase upcoming games for Xbox and PC.

No word yet on what we'll see, but Bethesda's Starfield and Arkane's Redfall seem like sure bets considering both are still scheduled to launch this year. Other potential titles include Senua's Saga: Hellblade, State of Decay 3, Avowed, and Forza Motorsport. Expect some third-party titles to be sprinkled in there, especially if they have marketing deals with Xbox.

The announcement of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase is some good news after months of bad news regarding summer events. E3 2022 has been fully cancelled and EA has opted not to hold an annual State of Play. PlayStation, Nintendo, and Ubisoft have yet to confirm if they'll release a State of Play/Direct/Showcase this summer. So far, only Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest is a go, though we're still waiting on a date for the show.

Be sure to check back June 12 for all the latest news from Xbox and Bethesda.
