A new update is hitting the Xbox One, and it's delivering a few new features to the system in response to much of the fan-feedback Microsoft has been receiving. These changes aren't exactly dramatic, but they will allow users a bit more control and convenience as they use the system. Here's what's coming to the console today:

  • Wish List Notifications: Users will now receive notifications when items on their wish list go on sale in the Xbox Store.
  • Mixer on the Dashboard: Mixer fans will no longer have to navigate to a separate app to watch streams on Mixer since there is now a full Mixer window available on the dashboard.
  • Game Pass Recommendations: Players can now share recommendations for games available in Game Pass via direct messages or sharing it out to their club or activity feed. These will allow friends to quickly and easily find the game in question.
  • App and Game Limits: Parents can now set time limits for specific games and apps via Family Settings rather than having to rely on a single, blanket time limit for everything.

Beyond these, improvements have been made to capturing gameplay, finding recent players, automatic updating and the Events app. Check out the full update announcement for even more details.
