One of last year’s best strategy titles, XCOM 2, is receiving a free weekend during this year’s biggest release weekend, but it’s a tempting offer nonetheless.

Starting tomorrow at 9 AM PT, XCOM 2 will be free to download for all Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One, and will be available through 11:59 PM PT on Sunday, October 29. During this same time period, both XCOM and XCOM 2 will be available for 60% off on the Xbox Store, with any progress made from the free weekend carrying over to the full release.

XCOM 2 is also out on PS4 and PC, with our review discussing the technical issues at launch that held back the sci-fi turn-based title.
